When you include CDF in your estate planning, you make the most impactful gift possible while meeting your needs and serving your family’s well-being. There are many options for including CDF in your estate planning:
- Designate CDF as a beneficiary in your will. As a special benefit for our supporters, we’ve partnered with our friends at FreeWill so you can use their intuitive, online will-writing tool at no cost to you. The process typically takes no more than 25 minutes from start to finish, and you will be able to leave a bequest to the Children’s Defense Fund in your will if you so choose.
- Designate CDF as a beneficiary in an individual or family trust
- Designate CDF as a beneficiary of your 401K or other retirement account
- Designate CDF as a beneficiary in your life insurance policy
