Zurke Trujillo is currently a student at Learning Works Charter School @ Homeboy Industries. While loving video games, art, poetry, film and music, Zurke’s primary passion is working toward becoming a committed creative and an old soul who values reading, learning, and beseeching wisdom well beyond his years. As a Homeboy High School student, the themes of Homeboy Industries figure prominently in Zurke’s personal and academic development. Zurke has proven to become a quick study at integrating the Homeboy Industries themes (Boundless Compassion, Radical Kinship, and Extravagant Tenderness) directly into his everyday personal and academic process.
