Rev. Tami Forte Logan, M.Div., is an ordained AME Zion Elder, pastor, preacher, teacher, popular educator, community organizer, cultural organizer, racial equity facilitator and the convener of Faith 4 Justice Asheville. This group of faith communities provoke justice by centering the voice and supporting strategies of black and brown bodied people impacted by criminalization and dehumanization in the Asheville, N.C. region. She challenges faith communities which historically and currently uphold systems of oppression, to participate in actions to dismantle white supremacy in their own institutions and beyond. Tami is also a wife, mother, grandmother and is raising 12 chickens.
