Kat Plascencia joined CDF-NY as a John Jay Tow Youth Justice Fellow, where she is a member of the Youth Justice Research Collaborative, and works on advocacy around juvenile justice reform and education justice. She is a first generation, Dominican-American, and a 2021 graduate of John Jay College with a masters in public administration. She strives to create change within New York’s most vulnerable communities and families. She is passionate about Youth Justice and Development, Economic Equality, and Immigration Rights.
