Jaramin Gomez partnered with CDF-NY on youth justice advocacy this year and is from Community Connections For Youth, where she is a youth mentor, working with other young people in her community for change. Jaramin is also a student at Borough of Manhattan Community College studying psychology. This year, she helped push for a law that ended the arrest and prosecution of elementary school age children in New York, (which we passed!) and is committed to creating communities where young people and their families have everything they need to thrive.
